Self Exposure (replica)

The principle of design used in these photos is contrast, the range of light to dark blend the pieces of the photo together while also adding depth to the main subject.
The element of art used in these photos is shape, the shape of the round mirror encases the main subject emphasizing it.
The rule of photography used in these photos is
To achieve this recreation I started by taking a photo of the handheld mirror. To get that photo I had to find the angle and a way to get the same piece of face as in the original photo. To do that I had my model put the mirror in the right position and move her face where I told her to so that it resembled the original. I had a white light above on the models right side to cast the same lighting down and edited the contrast to deepen the shade. I then took another photo if the ground and sky that was similar to the original as at the time the photo was taken it wasn’t possible for me to achieve the angle and lighting outside.
